Inspired by Silicon Valley, China Rubber Industry Association, Government of Sifang District, Qingdao University of Science & Technology, MESNAC Co., Ltd. and related enterprises signed the strategic cooperation agreement on the 7th January 2011 to build China Rubber Valley jointly in Qingdao, China.

Subsequently on 16th March 2011, America Akron city and Government of Qingdao Sifang District signed the “Friendly City Building Agreement”.

The creators aim to build a free trading zone of rubber industry with industry ecosystem development mode and to become a driving force for the development of rubber industry.

The valley occupies a total land area of 187,5 ha with its core area of over 31 ha and total area up to 1000 000 m2.

5. Business Exhibition
6. Intermediary Financing

RV will be created as Chinese brands incubation base, global products order center, international display and purchase center, international E-commerce center, international talents exchange and training center, and international scientific research and innovation center. In addition, RV will adopt normative corporate governance structure, by using modernization business management module to make it becoming an industry brand, meanwhile, cooperating with American rubber city Akron.

Rubber Valley has been listed on Qingdao “12th Five-year Development Plan” and one of China Rubber Industry Association’s key tasks in 2011.

The project will be completed in 3 stages. The last stage will be finished in 2015 along with China Rubber Museum, Exhibition Centre, International Trading Center and Business Information Center.
